Question / Help Trying to capture computer games

hey guys,

So I am trying to capture my online games I play on my computer (like WOW or WOT) and I am having a hard time getting it to fit the whole screen.

I capture using "game capture" sources.
setting-video- base resolution 1920-1080
and when I take the file into Adobe premiere elements 10 it doesnt even fill up the screen area.

I have to stretch out the file to make it fit, but then parts of the top and bottom are not even shown.

well i read thru it and I am still stumped,

I got the log and it says my monitor is 1280-1024

I have tried setting it to monitor or custom and it still doesnt fit, still looks like the image i attached

1280x1024 is a 4:3 aspect ratio, not a 16:9 one.
There will ALWAYS be black bars or cropping to go from one to the other without causing your circles to look like squished eggs.

You can set a 16/9 canvas size in OBS Studio.
Then, stretch source. CTRL + S

There will ALWAYS be black bars or cropping to go from one to the other without causing your circles to look like squished eggs.

Don't stretch the source to a different aspect ratio if you don't want bad picture distortion.
