OBS 22.0.3 on Macbook Pro mid 2012 13in (OS 10.14.6)
We have been using OBS successfully for a while with one video input via Blackmagic UltraStudio MiniRecorder. Today I tried hooking up a secondary (cheaper) video capture device (Digitnow! HD Video Game capture) to add another source for scene switching.
We are a church. During our worship services, we use OBS to livestream to Facebook, but people who might be watching the livestream cannot see the large screens in-house because we have zoomed the camera up to the stage. So I am attempting to split the feed (REI 1x2 HDMI Splitter) running from the computer (Macbook Pro mid 2012 OS 10.11.6 running Propresenter 6) that generates the images that we show on the screens.
The splitter appears to be working because the images are still making it to the large screens in-house. According to the manual that came with the DIGITNOW! capture, we should look for "FHD WEBCAMERA" as the source device. That name shows up, but no picture shows up. I have tried changing some settings, but still no picture from the secondary source. The main livestream feed still shows up.
