This is tricky to describe but I will do my best. I have a stream on twitch that a friend and I race rubiks cubes. We have a setup that takes from a website called Letscube.net. It essentially posts our times and the win count (we race to 9). It has worked fine for about 3 months until just recently, possibly due to the v26 update.
I am logged in twice to this website, one sits in the background (not tabbed), and the other is the one that I submit my times (always on top showing in my monitor). OBS takes from the backgrounded window. In the past, I could submit my times to the foreground browser window and then the background browser window would update and then OBS would pull the parts of that window source and show it on stream (our times, win count, etc.). But now, the times and the win count will not update unless I alt-tab to the background browser window. Only then will it update and show in OBS. This is very frustrating because it always worked fine until this week. Also it creates alot of unnecessary work for me to always alt-tab between these 2 windows during our stream. If this explanation is confusing then check out the set up at www.twitch.tv/tuptim
I am fairly certain its a setting in obs that does not allow for backgrounded windows to be projected until those windows are brought forward, but it could also be a chrome setting. Thanks in advance.
