OBS streamer
New Member
Hello,
I've been attempting to use OBS to stream games lately, however, the audio is terrible when I go and review the streamed games. It sounds somewhat muffled, kind of like what it would be if I were to set my headset's quality to 8000 hz (telephone quality)
I've done some research to see what was causing this... and a lot of people have said that I would need to mess with my window's settings. So i ampped up the RDO's quality to 24bit, 96000 hz (Studio quality). When I started recordign again, I noticed no change, still muffled. So I tried disabling my Headset, and recorded just the RDO. Which sounded AMAZING when I re-enabled my headset to listen to the recording.
So my question is: Is there anyway that I can get OBS to use the Realtek Digital Ouput as the audio source, while still being able to use my headset to hear everything?
If I re-enable headset, obs stops using RDO as the audio source, and switches to something else.
Thanks a lot for the help!
