I did a quick search on this forum and couldn't find this exact problem. If someone has seen this before then a link to another discussion would be very welcomed!
I've been using OBS to record a podcast for a few months no. I'm on Mac so I use OBS with Skype running through NDI.
Since Skype always seems to be a chokepoint and always has tech issues, I started experimenting using Zoom since everyone seems more familiar with it. The problem is, when I send the signal through Zoom it just comes through as a black screen. It's almost like it doesn't have all of the permissions it needs.
Has anyone seen this? Does anyone have a fix?
I can supply any further info you may need.
Furthermore, does anyone have thoughts on using Skype vs Zoom?
