Question / Help Trouble streaming with Elgato

I know a lot of people have problems with the Elgato and I've searched a few times and I can't find an answer to my question. When I try to use the Elgato directly it does not show up, I've read that that's a drive issue and there's nothing I can do? If so what are my other options? If I do a window capture it captures the whole window of the Elgato software and I don't want to see the whole software I just want to see the gameplay from my xbox 360. What can I do to fix that? Is there a screen capture type thing where I can just select a part of a window? Thanks for any help.

Elgato does not work directly on the mac. They do not provide mac drivers for it. You do have to capture the window, though hopefully in the next version we'll have a better means of doing that more efficiently.

(EDIT: sorry didn't see it was the mac forum)
