Hello, I have a MacBook Pro M2 Max running the latest OBS software. I am currently trying to record a video in OBS that has separate tracks. What I want is for my game audio and mic audio to be separate when I export it as an Mkv and remux it into a mp4. However, my issue is I am only hearing the audio that is assign to track 1. When I import the file into Final Cut Pro it does not show that there are two audio tracks associated with the recorded video. I don’t know why this is but I need a solution before I lose all sanity! My settings are as follows:
Advance Audio Properties (for sources):
Preferences>Audio
Advance Audio Properties (for sources):
- Mic (Condenser Mic) is set to 0.0dB/Mono/Monitor Off/ Track 1
- Game (Minecraft Java) – 0.0dB/Mono/Monitor Off/ Track 2
- Recording Format: Mkv
- Video Encoder: (use stream encoder)
- Audio Encoder: Core Audio AAC
- Audio Track: 1-5 are enabled
Preferences>Audio
- Global Audio Devices: All settings are disable. I am only using audio from my sources.
