Hi everyone,
Fairly new to the streaming scene. Earlier this week, I discovered a problem with my desktop audio playing back a slight delay not through my headphones, but only in my stream. I played around with the obs settings and even the sound settings in windows 10, but ended up just switching my Elgato Audio output mode from "capture audio only" to "Output desktop audio WaveOut." This solved the echo issue and made my game sound crisp. I typed in some recommended settings with output and video quality for good measure thinking that it would help, but this eventually led to problems in my stream.
Thinking that changing my settings would make my stream easier, it made it even worse. There never used to be frame rate drops in previous streams before this fix, but it has suddenly occurred a lot more frequent, usually halfway through a stream.
Another big problem that has occurred that never existed prior was that my Yeti mic audio would get off sync during the stream itself. I would test different numbers with Sync offset and record my footage with obs' record feature. I would get the mic to sync pretty well after watching the recorded footage, but the moment i'd start a stream, it would automatically go off-sync again. The face can and the Elgato was still synced, but the mic would get off sync after bitrate or framerate problems would occur,
Here is my log file: https://hastebin.com/oyefiderif
And here are my PC specs:
Processor: AMD a10-6800K APU with Radeon Graphics at 4.10 GHz
RAM: 8 GB
64bit OS , Windows 10
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon 7800 Series
I hope all of this helps. Please let me know if you need any more information.
