Transitions randomly work with new update

I typically use the studio mode. I find that my transition button grays out at random times since the new update. Does anyone know how to fix this? Temporarily, I turn off studio mode and turn it back on. I have never had to do this before and I prefer studio mode especially when training others on how to use OBS with our services.
