Transition between a Video Source.

Hello dear OBS friends,
I am facing a question right now. The following situation:
I have ONE video source where the path changes automatically via script and a new video is played. Now I want to add a transition between this process. For now a standard fade transition, later maybe a stinger. Result should be that as soon as the new video starts, a transition is played.

Anybody have an idea? With the extended scene changer I didn't get a reliable result.

Hello again. I think having 2 scenes and 2 media sources where the media files would alternately load into the 2 media sources would work, but this would mean the path to the next video file would have to be written to the text file before the previous file ends so the transition has access to both media sources. As the first file plays in scene A, a second before it ends, the second media file is loaded into the media source in scene B and a transition is done from scenes A to B. When the second video file is about to end, the third video file is loaded in scene A and a transition is done from scene B to A. This would continue back and forth between scenes each time the new video file path is changed in the text file.

But it's all dependent on the path to the next file being added to the text file before the current video file ends. Is that possible with mAirList?
