Transition at end of scene and into new scene

So i wanna have an overlay of a slot machine running at the END of one scene, into the next scene
is this possible? How can i do this?

You'd like to use Stinger Transitions. Have look at this tutorial.

(Please note that this video is a bit older already. Limitations on transitions mentioned earlier in the video are solved. In Studio Mode it is possible to add Quick Transitions, like presets with a specific transition type and its settings. Also when right clicking at scenes it is possible to select Transition Override and set a specific transition for switching to that particular scene.)
