I purchased video capture equipment and the software that came with it was not that great. I thought I would try OBS. I cannot seem to get the video to show up anywhere. I went to source, but I cannot even see the device listed after selecting video capture. This was also true with the software that came with the equipment. I have the cables set up correctly. I am not sure what is wrong? It looked so easy. Additionally are there any guides for VCR video captures? This can take hours and hours to figure out. I suppose that there are not many these days looking to transfer from VHS to PC, but I want to before the tapes get any older. thank you for any assistance!
