Hi.. I had the same issue with my DDJ-SX3. To resolve this issue I use my booth output, from my booth I go into my headphone jack on my laptop (MacBook Pro). When I upgraded my OS on Mac the problem started. Also verify the monitor output is turned on.

Hi, after a long search yesterday, I finally found the solution for any of you who are working with external sound cards (Firewire types) for example or any controllers.
I'm working on a Macbook Pro 13 inch 2012 model, with High Sierra running.
Forget about settings in Audio Midi Setup (Utilities), forget about soundflower etc. it doesn't work !
What you need is this -> https://rogueamoeba.com/loopback/download.php
It's called Loopback. Unfortunately, it's not a freeware. You can test it and find out if it works for you before buying.
1. Install the software and open it. You'll see 'Sources', change it by clicking on the arrow to your actual sound card or controller. It'll create a virtual device that you'll have to select in OBS. You need to see some waves now playing in Loopback.
2. Go to OBS and click on Sources (+) -> add Audio Input Capture. Device should be set to Loopback Audio.
3. That's it !

You're welcome :)
