If anyone would be kind enough to walk me through issues I am having with my DAW and OBS.
I have audio issues after recording. I am simply trying to get high quality sound and videos for both personal use and streaming via private messages, Facebook, etc.
I am using Reaper (paid), Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen and get great results in reaper. I am using a Zoom q2n 4k or my Samsung s23 ultra as a Webcam. I mute the audio between playing. When I run OBS I get weird phase issues, sometimes crackling, and sometimes clipping.
I am not familiar with OBS overall and have watched just about every video on YouTube and still can't get a quality recording via OBS.
I'm sure it's user error, but I don't know what half the settings do for avoiding these issues.
I was first getting clipping which I addressed with a limiter on my asio input from reaper. Now I am getting weird fluctuations in sound and almost like a phaser effect on the saved videos.
I have tried isolation with headphones, my studio monitors, etc.
If anyone can walk me through setting this up, I would appreciate it.
My computer is brand new Intel i9, 36g memory, 2tb ssd and I have audio set to 320,video is 1080 on the zoom or up to 8k on my Samsung s23 ultra.
Thanks in advance...
Steve
