Too many devices in Audio Mixer

I have several devices in the Audio Mixer that I can't remove and that always clutter up the audio mixer panel. Is there any way of deleting them - there is no trashcan icon to allow their deletion which is a real headscratcher as this is how I remove unwanted items on all the other panels.

Entries in the Audio Mixer pane appears if there is source of sound in:
  1. Sources pane (you desktop speakers, mic device, media file etc)
  2. any global sources that are set in main menu File > Settings > Audio > Global Audio Devices
  3. sources that are set by scripts (main menu Tools > Scripts)
  4. sources that are set by external plugins (controls can be anywhere, but at least look at main menu Tools for any new entries)
To hide (from the Audio Mixer list) sources that you usually don't use for output (like a mic from web camera device) you can right-click over the Audio Mixer entry (over your listed source) and click option named Hide. To show all hidden sources right-click anywhere in the Audio Mixer pane and click option named Unhide All.

All sources that potentially may has audio has special entry (checkbox) in right-click menu over the source in the Sources pane that allows to hide/show the source from/to the Audio Mixer's pane:

As for removal - you can't separate audio from video if this doesn't supported by device driver or muxer (in case of media files it is better to prepare all assets before going online or just mute undesirable audio if you suddenly decided to watch real-time something unknown). So, you can't delete the sources listed in the Audio Mixer's pane, but can hide them (see info and screenshot above).

If you have Studio Mode on, try turning it off. That is what worked for me. Can turn it back on after.

To add to @Suslik V response... in OBS Studio > Settings > Audio, you can disable Global Audio devices you don't ever want to use (up to you to remember what you've disabled, or go back in to check... )
