Too large for destination file

After recording and in the proper format I am trying to move the file to A flash drive. The flash drive does have enough room. My computer does have enough memory. Why is the file too large for the destination file system? The files have already been converted to an Mov file. I am able to play them back with sound. just cannot move the larger ones. I'll thank you in advance for any help. This is driving me bonkers.

The "file too large for the destination file system"
means that your flash drive has obsolete organisation of stored data. The way the flash drive saves data determined by special procedure that done at first use of it (this first use usually done by manufacturer of the drive). In computers this action named "to format the drive". Format of the drive can be done many times. Each time during format all data already stored on the drive becomes inaccessible (deleted). The newer organization of the data storage (the "format") is not compatible with old devices (flash drive cannot be read in old player, camera, TV-set etc), thus manufacturers, for devices that has capacity lower than 32GB, always using old format.

Next time try to format your flash drive to "exFAT" format (copy all files to other device and re-format the flash drive to new format with the File Explorer - search online for more info how to do it).

Edit: Here, the "exFAT" is newer "File system" (or "format of the drive"), it supports files larger than 4GB.

Rock on. Thank you so much. After exfat format, it is starting to transfer.
