I have a church scenario where we want to record from 1-2 cams (so far just 1), and show this on 2 screens on the stage with no video delay, and also live stream to facebook.
I am thinking a SDI PTZ cam. Hoping to get the key components for under $1500 (tight!!), including cam, ptz controller, switching components, and broadcast PC. I know people will rant, but I am a surveillance installer, and we will consider surveillance cameras if nothing cheaper comes around, I have done it in the past with acceptable results. I am also a well seasoned amateur photographer (dark room to digital), so I know all the wrong tricks ;)
I need to get over the hurdle of the "no delay live monitors", in the past our solution was to use a SDI cam, and send that to a SDI>HDMI converter piped over to a HDMI balun/splitter to the 2 screens and from the splitter to a BM Decklink card in the PC to stream to FB. This way no video processing can slow down the screens, this is more of a "meeting area", and text overlays, etc are not *required* - but at some point they will probably ask for it, so my solution doesnt work there by side-stepping OBS.
If a better way exists to easily do this without huge expenses, I would like to know. This will probably be a windows PC, so far we are only in the planning stages, I have also ran OBS on linux/nginx to stream to a flowplayer site.
I would like to push 1080/30 to the screens, and 720/25 to FB.
Is there a USB option that will give me low latency? Or I might also use something like this Tandberg, I can get it used for $150, and it has SDI, HDMI, and IP all right there, only downer is Visca joysticks are ~$250 more than a Pelco protocol stick.

If I use USB cams, that removes the need for expensive controller and capture cards, but not sure of the quality/latency there, and my control station is 80' from the cam, so that may not be viable.
