timing of music/slideshow

How do I get the timings of the music and slideshows being played to show on my OBS screen.
Occasionally, the time line will show, other times it won't. I need it to show on every piece of music I play , as well as the length of a slideshow when playing.

What version of OBS app are you using?

Hi Aubrey, we downloaded OBS in August 2020, so I assume it would be the latest version from then.

Back then would have been v25.0.8. But you'd have been prompted to update to v26, and Media Controls is a new default (vs plug-in) capability. So exactly what version you are on makes a difference
And there can be a difference depending on whether using Media Source or VLC source (maybe?? depending on content)
