Question / Help Thief Gold on Steam, patched but no game sound

I am very new to doing gameplay videos and I want to be able to debut my youtube channel with my favorite game... maybe ever, Thief.

Trouble is that I can't seem to get the game sound, which is a big part of the thief games, to record. My audio is good, video is good, nice and smooth. Silent. :P

Log info for latest run here: https://gist.github.com/8b1ef2860036235c06f42198be1e2e54

Even tried using the 32 instead of 64... doesn't seem to effect the problem.

Thank you for your kind assistance.

In the properties for the 'Desktop Audio' I have tried default and the setting that lists my headset and the setting that says 'Realtek Digital output (Realtek high definition audio)'

Try disabling exclusive mode for the audio device that the game sound is playing out of (I'm still not sure which device that is, because you didn't answer my question).

Ah... now that it is not 4 something AM I see that I, in fact, did not answer your question. I have a logitech usb headset that I use with my computer. That is the only sound output. If you mean something other than what I have plugged in that I hear sound from, my apologies but I'd ask that you assume I am slow of mind and ignorant. It'll save you frustration. :D

I will also try altering my settings as you prescribed above.

Hard to say, everything looks fine in that latest log, but you're recording to 4 audio tracks. Most video players can only play back a single audio track at a time, and you should only be recording to multiple tracks if you plan to edit them in post. If you do not, I strongly recommend using a single track.
