I see streamers with huge resolution cameras, who then downscale the video in OBS just by dragging the corner of the video to make it smaller, and since OBS does a primitive job of downscaling, the result is terrible shimmer in the aliased output. The correct way to do this is to create a smaller resolution output from the camera itself, because internally the camera does a better job of downscaling than OBS. But it would be nice if OBS had some high quality GPU-accelerated video downscaler, other than just setting Lanczos on.
