Question / Help The Struggle is Real!

Hey friends. I've been streaming on Mixer on a late-2015 iMac (i7, 32G of Ram) since December of 2017. I have no a single issue... never a crash, a freeze, or anything, until I updated to Catalina and also updated OBS.

For the past 3 months, I've been tempted to quite streaming alltogether. It's FRUSTRATING! The issue was that my stream would freeze for a a few seconds every 45 seconds or so. And I FINALLY seemed to fix that today, but then it made my computer freeze 3 times to where I had to shut it down. If it's a computer issue, that doesn't make much sense to me because I running what seem to be more intensive programs like Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro often, with no struggles.

I'm just trying to find a solution because I want to stream. I love it! And I feel I have tried everything.

If streaming is mission critical for you, especially with OBS, you should not have updated to Catalina. If you can, downgrade to Mojave or even High Sierra. (OBS will actually gain back some features if you do, like SyphonInject).

Assuming your problem isn't related to that, post a logfile.

Include a log file if you have a problem: here's how

Make sure it's from a file with a complete output session-- open OBS, start streaming, observe your issue, stop streaming, then upload the Current log before quitting OBS.
