The mic cuts out or Ableton (DAW) sound cuts out; why is this happening?

I really need some help with figuring out why my mic and sound in Ableton randomly cut out. Is there a log report I can print from OBS to see why this is happening? OBS is not crashing, but randomly either my mic will cut out or the sound in Ableton (never both at the same time). If I restart bot programs, it begins to work again, but eventually cuts out.

I have noticed that it happens more when the Abelton project gets bigger, but when I look at the CPU usage, my computer is not under strain
