Question / Help The infamous over encoding question

I searched the net and couldn't find anything to help with my problem.

Last week I was streaming League just fine and then I can just be sitting in the LoL lobby and my OBS will tell me Over encoding and CPU is at 30% if that.

I've tired lowering Bitrate, FPS, Process Priority closing all programs no change. I might just have to come to terms I need to build a new computer...

Thanks in advance any help would be greatly appreciated.

So you didn't try setting OBS to run on the nvidia gpu in the nvidia control panel.

1. Hmm... you're running OBS on the Intel instead of the NVidia GPU: http://obsproject.com/forum/threads/laptop-black-screen-when-capturing-read-here-first.5965/

2. You have a weak CPU (Laptop with only 2 cores). But first fix the GPU issue, and then let's see what else can be done.

Seems to be running better. Thanks guys I thought I changed that earlier.
