Text disappearing after closing/restarting obs

I have been using text in obs since the beginning, but in the last 2 weeks i noticed that some text , allthough still being in the list of objects, disappears from the view. It is enabled and visible when i just made it, but after a restart of obs the text cannot be seen even though it is still enabled.

Also when i start over and make a new text, often the letters in the config window won't show entirely. just a very thin line of the lowest part of the text.
I think there is a bug in obs.

I am on a brand new 2020 i7 imac (6 cores 16GB ram)

Same here now nearly a year later.....

Running OBS 29.0.0

Add Text(FreeType 2)
Close OBS
Open OBS

text is now not visible.
The object is there in the Sources - I just cannot see the text.
Tried changing font / style of text - but I can only fix by DELETING and then recreating the Add Text(FreeType 2)

From a bit more testing this only occurs when I change the DEFAULT text font.
If I leave as default Helvetica - text is displayed on restart - guess I will have to use default font from now on.....

Please can this be fixed ?????
