Terrible Audio Quality [constant skipping/dropouts] // Video unaffected

I've been trying to live stream my audio recording/live performances from my studio; I run a overclocked PC with plenty of RAM and performance mods to seemingly handle a live stream, but every time I attempt to stream to Twitch or any other source, the audio quality is constantly skipping out/laggy/broken sounding and I cannot for the life of me figure out why. Any help at all would be much appreciated. I'm running an Apollo Twin Duo Thunderbolt interface, have a thunderbolt EX3 card on a Windows 10 PC utlizing Ableton Live 10. Tried lowering the video quality, going into audio preferences and giving control exclusively to OBS, even increasing my audio interface buffering to 2048 and conversely in the other direction, and it doesn't seem to matter. Thank you so much to whoever will be able to help me solve this!

I remember doing Asus EX3 research some time ago. One thing I remember was that the EX3 board only worked on certain Asus Z370 and Z390 motherboards. Maybe look into that.

Thank you for replying Sukiyucky - I have perfect compatability with the TBex3 card with my Asus z370 board, as I use it for high end audio recording consistently via the thunderbolt connection from my Apollo to the PC; all of the audio (even recorded audio coming from my DAW/Ableton) just starts stuttering uncontrollably when i go to stream it live, which has left me so confused
