I have set up Windows Task Scheduler to launch OBS Studio at the same time every week - when I don't actually have any physical display. There is a media input that is streamed and recorded by OBS.
Until a few months ago it all worked fine. But since about v 27.3 there has been an annoying issue: when I connect the physical display to see what is happening, both image windows in OBS Studio are whited-out. The streaming and recording are working OK, but the images don't show in the OBS Studio visual interface. (Please see screenshot attached). It's the same problem in both studio modes.
Furthermore, I cannot find any way of recovering my OBS Studio interface, other than by quitting OBS and starting it again. That works fine - but I really don't want to interrupt the stream and the recording by having to restart OBS.
Any suggestions, please, for how to recover the OBS user interface without restarting OBS - or how to prevent the white windows in the first place?
Many thanks in advance -
