Question / Help System Sounds Too quiet

me and my friend tryed to record a video but his audio was barely hearable, yet i could still hear him perfectly fine can anyone provide assitance?

I think it's a bug with 'desktop audio' I myself have had to add a 'gain' filter to it, and boost it about +7db for it to be heard, I know for a fact it's not my system, as I cannot turn up the audio in windows any further, and there's loads of people with the same issue..
