Sync scenes and resources

I've put my scene exports and resources (images, masks, slide shows, videos) in a syncing folder (per Nextcloud). that seems to work but if I move between my windows laptop at work and my Fedora workstation the absolute paths from Windows are something Linux cannot handle.

How do I sync scene setups accross multiple workstations and operating systems? In my humble setup I can setup most video sources on the two places I work
Or is there a better way to working

There isn't really a way to sync across different OBS installations. The configuration files contain user specific, machine specifc and OS specific paths in multiple locations. Even across different workstations with the same username and operating system it's usually not feasible, because devices such as a camera or a monitor for display capture are internally referenced by hardware IDs, which are different on all machines.

You can do an export of profiles and scene and source collections and import this on a different machine, but that's neither automated nor compatible across operating systems. Device names are still different, so you need to reassign any devices after import.
