Question / Help SWF file doesn't work

Hi guys,

I've been trying to add swf (scoreboard for fighting games) for 3 days now to my stream but I am tired now. The swf work on OBS-classic + brower, Xsplit, literally everywhere except OBS-Studio. For now I have settled with html scoreboard but I want to run the swf scoreboard. when I add the swf file to mediabrowser it just shows the red box and nothing in it. I have tried every other plugin like CLR browser and what not but still no luck. Please help guys.

It sounds a lot like you're trying to add it as a media source, or are trying to install the OBS Classic plugin for browser source into Studio (which won't work). You've tried using the native browser source, right? It comes bundled with Studio.

Sorry I meant browser source. yes I've been trying to add swf files through browser source but it won't run the animation/scorboard.

I hope you aren't loading the swf directly? If you want to use it correctly in the browser source it needs to be loaded from a html file.

Update: Installing the flash player for other browsers (both "Opera and Chromium" and Firefox") plugin worked for me. Now i can directly add swf file. Thanks guys.

Can you be more specific what exactly you have done?
I have the same problem... SWF file that worked in the classic version doesn't work in the Studio version...
