I am using a laptop (Asus ROG gl502VM) Windows 10 Pro x64, Version 1703, OS Build 15063.540 using OBS 20.0.1 (64bit, windows). The problem only happens when I am using a external monitor and OBS. I tried swapping from hdmi to mini display port, but have the same issue.
The problem I am having is when I play games and stream to twitch using OBS after a few minutes of playing my laptop will hibernate and I have to click the power button to bring it back to life.
I tried disabling hibernation in Windows, connected the power to my laptop, changing the power profile to High Performance, I went into advance power profile and set 0 to all timers, so it will not put the hard drive or display to sleep/hibernate.
I did a fresh install of Windows 10 and the problem went away, it came back once Windows installed updates, not sure if it was anniversary or creative update.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
