Support for Multi-Session environments

So we are piloting an AVD deployment for some of our devs at work and they have requested OBS Studio. I was wondering if anyone had used this in an environment similar to this (AVD, VDI, RDS, Etc.) and what the limitations were. I am not sure what they are using it for (I am waiting to hear back from them on the use case) but they need an AV Capture app and would prefer this one.

OBS Studio doesn't work well with emulated GPUs such as the GPU you get when you connect remotely with rdp. OBS Studio wants a physical GPU, because one major part of its work (compositing) is being done on the GPU and the GPU's shaders.

Maybe the cpu resources are sufficient, depending on the (still unkown) use case. We'll see.
