Hi, im using OBS to broadcast academy courses on a local university, we're currently using an Anycast Station (kinda old switcher from Sony) to cut the cameras, and the output video signal is coming to the streaming machine through Firewire (IEE1394), on linux, dvgrab is responsible for handling the Firewire vídeo flow, but OBS doesnt offer a way to use dvgrab as a source. Is it too hard to add this feature? currently im using Kino to watch the vídeo source and capturing its window in OBS. But this workaround adds a chain of delays (from firewire to kino to window capture). Im now trying to bridge Firewire to v4l2 using v4l2loopback but without success. If anyone had another idea i'll be happy to read.
