Question / Help Super high CPU usage when streaming

I'm having an issue with OBS (I've tried both classic and studio) where the CPU usage shoots above 35% and sometimes hitting as far as 70% of my CPU. This causes my computer to hit 100% cpu usage with a game running, causing the stream to crash or skip.

My specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 3820 3.60GHz Sandy Bridge-E
RAM: 16gb DDR3 Dual-Channel
Graphics: Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980
Mobo: Gigabyte X79-UP4
OS: Win10 Pro

Don't put a display and game capture in the same scene.
Set your fps to 30.
GTA5 is a bit of a resource hog. You might have to use settings lower then normal with this game.
Try a downscale resolution of 1280x540 or 1536x634 or 1460x616.

The display capture is hidden and not in use. It still makes a difference? Its not just GTA it does this with, Rainbow 6 Seige and even WoW have issues.
