I love using boom replay for replaying plays and funny moments immediately on my stream but I use replay buffer for a longer clip to include anything that happened before for around 3 minutes. I use these to import into premiere pro as it takes less time to import and conform the audio.
With boom replay it takes around 25 seconds before the hotkey press and 5 seconds after, but with replay buffer it cuts exactly when the hotkey is pressed. Would it be possible to add an extra 5 seconds of replay after the hotkey is pressed before writing it to the file? If I press it too late, the boom replay misses the action, if I press it too early my replay file cuts out too early for a clean video cut. I don't think people would have a problem with an extra 5 seconds added as a hardcoded solution but if so, an input field for the extra time would work.
