I'm no programmer but I feel like it'd be nice if the Output Timer had an option to reboot the recording, I don't get why the original build was only to stop the recording at a certain time as it could cut unexpected awesome content but there are probably many reasons. Regardless if this setting is enabled it should add a timer next to the REC: and the LIVE: showing the total time recording. this would help when editing as programs like premiere pro where they load one at a time and you can literally just edit while premiere loads the other clips. People who have a strong chance of getting their computer shut off after a certain amount of time wont get corrupted videos if they use files like mp4 (very commonly used). But for those people who don't edit or want to hold on to raw footage they can upload/archive files way faster also some archiving services only allow certain sized videos.
TL;DR
option for:
OBS auto archives every (time count)
OBS total recording time named "TOTAL" that isn't reset but "REC" and/or "LIVE" can be reset for the amount of time
Good for:
Editing faster
Lower chance of corrupted videos (mp4)
uploading raw fottage
