Question / Help Suddenly - stream connect timeout on Facebook Live

OBS 24.0.6
Firefox 74.0/Chrome 80.0.3987.149/Safari 13.0.1

Used it last night without issue, video and audio, flawless. Tonight, I hit Start Streaming and...nothing. Just times out, in three browsers. No settings have changed, and OBS doesn't crash.

Anyone else experiencing similar? This setup has been reliable for a long time, not sure if it's on my end or if I've been Zuckerberg'd. Would also appreciate troubleshooting tips.

I have the same issue here tonight. ( 11 minutes ago and now ). Is Facebook live working at all ? I use Windows 7 64 - Everything was fine yesterday.

I just downloaded and the only way I managed to make it work was setting a persistent key in facebook. So far it's working.

Not even setting a persistent key worked so far for me. Timeout.

It worked when I used the native "Camera" setup in Live Producer (selecting FaceTime HD Camera for video, and my Behringer UMC404 for audio). Which would be fine, except the audio quality is crap - that's why I use OBS and iShowU Audio Capture (excellent audio!). But persistent stream keys aren't working. I reset and tried a new key, same deal. I also went back to the older version of Facebook Live (not Live Producer), and that wasn't working either.

It sounds like the problem is on Facebook's end...baldemarch gives me hope that it's just something that's temporarily broken, and not some some permanent change that's borked this version of OBS. I'll try again tomorrow evening. (BTW, @baldemarch - what's your setup? OS, OBS version, etc?)
