The other day right after I installed the new update to OBS I started to have frame drop and choppy gameplay while recording/streaming when the day before recording/streaming was fine and had no issues. It also happens when I screen share in discord now, my tech friends said I need a new cpu but I figured I would ask here first before I go through that process.
Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790
Ram: 16gb DDR3 Ripjaws
GPU: GeForce GTX 1070 G1
I wouldn't be surprised if it was the specs but I just thought it was weird how sudden it was like literally 1 day its choppy and laggy.
