Stutters and lags go when I click reset

Hi All, any help would be appreciated. I have been streaming without issue for a few months. In the last few weeks I've started to get missed/skipped frames. I haven' t made any changes to GPU/CPU settings (outside of the normal driver update from Nvidia. (specs below)

I use a 2 monitor setup (same refresh rates). i game on monitor 1 (windowed mode) and use OBS on monitor 2. (Single PC streaming setup)

When the mouse is on monitor 1, OBS starts to show missed/skipped frames(stats screen). However, if I click Reset on the stats screen, the missed/skipped frames stop and everything is back to normal. Then if I mouse back to monitor 1 and interact with it, the preview becomes laggy again. As a work around I can disable the preview mode but I never had to do this before. Its an odd one because its only a matter of clicking the reset key on the stats panel in OBS and everything returns to normal. I also tried a key bind to my streamdeck to reset the stats, which it does, but unless i use the mouse to click it, the issue remain.

I use OBS with Admin Mode and the content I stream is Microsoft Flight Simulator. To be clear, I dont have any lag on the game itself, only on OBS - on the stats page. This then makes the stream laggy/stutters.

Anyone have this issue before?

(im at work at the moment so I dont have access to log files - but reading through them, nothing appears to be out of place)

Hi, I have the same problem with FS2020. I'm going crazy with this. Do you have any solution? I attach two videos to better understand.
P.s. In the exemple I'm not streaming, just OBS opened.
