Question / Help Stuttering stream at 1080p but not at 720p

So I really want to stream at 1080 because then its not at blurry if you get what I'm saying?
However I have this issue.

When I stream at 1080p I use 30fps and 3000 Bit-rate and the stream stutters or freezes all together.

But when I stream at 720p I use 30fps and a 2500 Bit-rate and the stream is perfectly fine. It just looks blurry and slightly pixelated. And i really don't want that at all.

I'm not experiencing any in-game lag at all still around 80-110 fps
I have no idea what is wrong and I would LOVE if someone could please tell me what I'm doing wrong, and what I can do to achieve this.

Here are my full settings:

Thanks in advance for the help!

1080p : you have encoding lag.

Best way to show this: post a log after streaming
There is a stivky showing how to do it

Or stream at 720p 30 FPS 3500 Kbps bitrate.

1280x720px30FPS 2500 Kbps Preset FAST profile main
Too short streaming attempt, only 3 secs, show no issues

BUT yur preset, FAST, is very intensive for your CPU. Use standard Veryfast

1920x1080x30FPS 3000 Kbps Preset FAST profile main
18:11:03.654: Output 'adv_stream': Number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 1726 (81.8%) --> CPU exhausted
18:11:03.654: Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 57 (2.6%) ---> GPU exhausted

So:

Video settings
canvas 1920x1080
output 1280x720
30 FPS
Filter Lanczos

Output settings
Leave rescale unchecked

Bitrate 2500 - 3500 Kbps
Preset Veryfast
Profile Main

Your settings are working thank you any idea why my stream is still blurry though? Is it just because its fullscreen on a 1080p monitor? It is still just blurrier than i would like it to be is all.

Rescaling produces that effect.

A way to improve it is using a SHARPEN filter. Uee standard 0.8 value or try with 0.12
You can add filter to scene or to selected source. With second option, that source will have that filter applied in any scene.

You can try a different downscale filter. Bicubic preserves sharpness.

Contrary to its description, Lanczos smooths the image. Overwatch is CPU demanding. Limit frame rate and lower graphics if necessary.
