Question / Help Stuttering recording, but why?

Just before 3.5 minutes record time, my video stutters significantly with no evidence during recording. I'm not streaming. I'm only wanting to record for YouTube. I'm recording Minecraft, so it shouldn't be a huge drain on my machine. It isn't the best PC, but I feel it should be good enough to handle. Here's my log. Does anyone have any advice?

Why did you set the cpu preset to medium? Set that back to veryfast.

I think I originallyl misunderstood how that works. I've changed it back and I was able to do a quick recording and verify 7 entire minutes of smooth game play! Woohoo! I, honestly, didn't think it would make THAT much of an impact. Thanks so much!

I would want to record and teach people on how to do things, i REALLY WANT TO RECORD!
But i just dont know how to. But when i looked on youtube it showed me this website.
So Im wondering if you can let me record if yes, Thankyou so much so much your the best

Simra, that's a pretty big, open ended question. It's taken me weeks and weeks of study and I'm still having issues. Just read and watch tutorials like crazy. Currently, I use and recommend OBS Studio to record and Davinci Resolve to edit. It sounds easier than it is. There are a lot of steps in between and a book could be written on it. These forums are a great place to ask specific questions, but you're just going to have to download and play with the software before you can even know what to ask. Good luck!
