Question / Help Stuttering audio and video before streaming.

I am using OBS studio on windows 10 and I am trying to stream from a WiiU. When I start OBS and the video comes up it stutters and freezes alot and the sound is also off, as it also stutters and cuts out, This is all before I even start streaming or recording and my cpu usage is at 10 or 12%. I am using an Elgato Game capture HD.
