I have been struggling with this for a month and i thought i almost had it but i still have an issue
My hardware:
i5
AMD Radeon 7500
8MB DDR
Windows 10 64 Bit - build 1903
Operating system on Samsung SSD EVO
Output to a 2nd Samsung SSD EVO
Settings by Auto configuration
Veryfast, MKV, 30 fps, Software x264, 160 Audio bitrate, 5000 kbps Video bitrate, High quality Medium FIle Size, Encoder (x264), No downscaling, Direct 3D 11, Color Format NV12 601 partial
I have changed it to
Veryfast, MKV, 24 fps, Software x264, 192 Audio bitrate, 5000 kbps Video bitrate, INDISTINGUISABLE QUALITY LARGE File, Encoder (x264 low CPU increases file size), No downscaling, Direct 3D 11, Color Format NV12 601 partial
The recording (off Netflix hence 24 fps) is good until about 30 mins in then it starts stuttering and jerking. The sound is fine but it looks like it is only 10 fps!
It records about 8 gb per hour. The Cpu displays 35%. I did try it as MP4 and it was terrible, it was like 12 fps from the start!
Is the graphics card not up to the job?
Where do i find the log files?
