Question / Help Stutter

I don't know what to do here.
I use 2 pc's. My desktop to play games and my laptop to stream.
I use an avermedia live gamer portable. My video source passes through a hdmi splitter first.
My footage looks ok, but when I start streaming my audio stutters. Video seems fine.
Thought it was the AAC encoder first but I fixed that.
Can someone help me out?

Need a logfile from a session that you streamed.

you will have to make sure that ALL audio devices in both PCs and the capture card share the same audio format. 48000Hz is a popular one. OBS even has a place for that in the encoding tab. and windows under playback and recording devices when you double click on each device, go to the advanced tab. again, this part is in windows.

integrated GPUs do not like to be downscaled. this is due to their poor scaling ability which OBS uses GPu to scale and store frames.

since your only source is 720x480, set base resolution to this res with no downscale

your fps on your capture card will not match your output.fps if 30fps. you can either set fps to 1/2 of your cap card or adjust your cap card to match your OBS settings. the first would be advised. Recommended 29.97 in the video tab of OBS. you might need to enable advanced to get this to show.

did you check your source PC for audio format as well?

Still no luck, changed the base resolution with no downscale and set the fps to 29,97. Keeps stuttering.

need a new logfile. for streaming at 5 minutes or more. set everything to 44100Hz. both PCs, OBS and your capture card as well.might need to go into avermedia software to change that then close and restart OBS.

EDIT: it is more than likely your mic. please check it exclusively

might also need to move USB ports away from your capture card's hub. and update chipset drivers from your motherboard manufacturer's website. this is a very important step

Alright, I'm sorry for the late response, had a busy week. I don't wanna be the guy that stops replying after he solves his issue so here is my solution. I felt like there had to be an easier solution.

If you use an avermedia product, you need their software, it's called Avermedia Rec Central. You can use it to set up, record and stream as well. So I tried streaming with it, and the audio was perfectly fine. Only problem was the stream was very unstable. So I set up OBS Classic with the Avermedia Stream Engine. And I had no issues whatsoever. So if anyone is having the same issue, try using OBS classic. Thanks for the help anyway!
