Hello folks!
I read all the read this first threads, but I found no solution to my litte problem with recording.
Currently I'm trying to record a few videos about the 2D game Jotun, but I got a lot of nasty little judder in my recordings.
I tried various settings but I just can't fix this, so maybe you guys can help.
First of all, here is the log: https://obsproject.com/logs/Su7PFdOERK9_Qp_t
Here's what I've tried:
- Save to a SSD instead of a HDD
- Change VBR to CBR
- Save as .mp4 instead of .mkv
- limit FPS to 120 via NVidia System
- Turn VSync on/off
- Turn GSync on/off
- locked game to 60 FPS
- admin on/off
- install the newest NVidia driver
And here are my specs:
-GTX 1080
-16GB DDR3 Ram
-Z97 Asus Board
-i7 4790K @4ghz
-2560x1440 @165hz Monitor
I really don't know what else I could try...
It's a 2D game so my GPU is bored as hell and CPU also isn't stressed. The game itself is smooth. Just the recording isn't.
Also I think that 3D games are performing a little better (or it's just not as noticeable). Does that make sense?
