OBS MP says it uses about 68 to 70% of my cpu but in task manager it only uses about 35%. It lags a lot and the quality is bad.

I see. Good to know.Windows 10 isn't the cause at all. All the stories you've been reading come from people who have generally broken computers.
Another person? I think this might be an actual bug. The developers should look into this.I got the same issue.
I'm recording not streaming.1080p 60fps needs 3000 bitrate at least

@(__MARI_PHAUNA__) That's pretty low for 1080p60. The recording presets in OBS Studio and the settings from the high quality recording guide work much better.

My problem is not the settings. It is that it says it uses more CPU than taskmanager says it uses and acts like it too. Why is that?If you're recording and ONLY recording, use the simple output mode, high or indistinguishable quality, x264 low cpu encoder.
run CPU-Z and say, is your CPU freq lower than that what you are paid for?My problem is not the settings. It is that it says it uses more CPU than taskmanager says it uses and acts like it too. Why is that?
