Studio mode Source transitions only available in Preview not Program

Hi Folks,

Not sure if I'm missing something in the settings but yeah in studio mode, source transitions appear and disappear only in the preview window and not the program (I'm thinking it should probably be the other way around?). As I said is this something I've missed in settings or does everyone just use it without studio mode enabled? This has happened for the last few versions. I would've said something sooner but was waiting to see if it was just an oversight or just a setting I missed.
Any help appreciated.

I see what you mean and I cannot really explain it. We use source transitions for a gracefull fade of DownStreamKeyers (Lower Thirds) using sub scenes. Then it works OK (in OBS Studio 27.0.1) so this is actually my suggested workaround for you.

DSK Scene contains a source (or more if desired). The hotkey is added to the scene item's visibility within the DSK Scene. Then DSK Scene is added over all webcames, images and video clips we might bring to air.

But you are right, the hotkey does not work when the DSK Scene itself is in Program...

I know this is a couple years old, but was wondering if there was any other thought or movement on this issue? I would love to be able to use something like the show/hide transitions, but am not willing to give up studio mode to get them. Does anyone else have a work around they use?
