Current specs:
-Windows 10 Home Premium 64bit (KB3189866)
-OBS Studio 0.15.4
-Intel i5-4690k
-Asus Nvidia 2GB GTX960
-8GB HyperX Blu Series
-500GB SATA Internal HDD
-1TB USB3 External HDD
-480GB SSD

Foir the last 2 and a half weeks. my OBS has been freezing at random points throughout the stream and no longer outputting the stream to twitch. I have tried the following:-

uninstalling and reinstall OBS studio
change stream key
change server

someone recommended updating windows which I done and it was fine for roughly an hour before it did it again. This is incredibly frustrating due to the timing. This has happened during charity week :(

does anyone know of a confirmed way to fix this issue?

Yeah Windows Version: 10.0 Build 14393 (which I believe is anniversary edition) is causing all types of probelms for OBS currently. I went back to a july build of windows myself.

Sorry cant find the reply button on mobile but Roids0777 i upgraded my windows version past the anniversary build and the issue still continued? Did you experience the same error and did rolling back fix it?

Remove KB3189866 in the Windows update as a temporarily solution or reduce texture quality in the game if it's at medium or higher. The update to Windows 10 has been freezing OBS when VRAM on the GPU is low and it's more common with 2GB or less video cards.

Your log file is incomplete - it does not show a recording or streaming attempt. To get a complete log file, please start recording/streaming, wait 30-60 seconds, then stop recording/streaming before uploading a log file.

So the issue was also occurring before updating Windows? When you say you updated Windows, did you update to the Anniversary Update, or were you already on the Anniversary Update? Do you have any log files from before you updated? Check "%AppData%\obs-studio\logs" to see if you do.
