Streamlabs alerts no longer work in OBS Studio

I'm having an issue with streamlabs alert box in OBS. Test alerts play fine when I launch the widget from streamlabs.com, but when I add them as a browser source to OBS, test alerts won't play. It's been working fine for years and no longer works. I've run through a lot of troubleshooting steps suggested by streamlabs (including checking my windows firewall to make sure OBS is allowed), as well as this one I found in the OBS Discord:
1. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
2. Delete the folder %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
3. Start OBS
4. Settings -> Stream -> disconnect -> connect

I can't seem to get it fixed. Is there anything else I can try?

This is OBS Studio, not streamelements. Please contact them regarding issues with their services.

Please don’t be so bluntly dismissive in shrugging off people who ask for help simply because they mention another application in their help request. Their issue or solution could be OBS interaction based, and not lie with the other application. “Standard” replies like this quoted back to people seeking help simply because they mention another application are unhelpful and signal that the OBS community don’t care and are uninterested in learning/helping others when an issue solution is unknown. The solution may well lie with the other application mentioned but until it’s investigated at lease a little, that’s not guaranteed to be the case. And in investigating it, we may learn more about OBS and how it interacts and improve its robustness as a software applicatio. The OBS community and platform was founded on a culture of helping others for little in return so members shouldn’t be so quick and so bluntly dismissive of anyone seeing help.
