Question / Help Streaming Works at Certain Times?

Hey guys! Well looks like I am back and require some assistance lol. It seems fairly obvious that the problem is my internet connection and not OBS, but what's interesting is that I tried to stream on YouTube Gaming around 7 P.M. CT, but the stream looked awful and the lag was abhorrent. I tried to change bitrate to as low as 1000, among other downgrades, and even that was terrible. However, when I tried to stream again just now, the stream was crisp and smooth and easily functioned at 9000 bitrates. Is this because of the time of day that I did it or is there some other underlying problem? I'll post logs of when I first tried to do it vs when I did it now.

Log file from streaming at 7 P.M. is attached

Log file from streaming now: https://obsproject.com/logs/jXbQ3Hgr0zgkSsor

Ok so I think I may have posted the wrong file from when I streamed just now. Here it is just in case I did. I should also mention that I did this as a private stream if that somehow affects it.

What type of connection are you on? That sounds more like you're running into the limitation of whatever node you're on for your ISP. 7pm is peak hours for after-work internet usage, meaning your bandwidth has to fight with everyone else's in your local area.

You're connecting via wi-fi, and you don't seem to have the most broadband wi-fi. If your wireless lan is congested by fellow co-users or the frequency is fully used by the neighborhood, your bandwidth problems are locally and not with your connection to the streaming service.
Try a LAN cable to see if this is the case or to rule that out.

Thank you both, I figured it was a wifi problem because in all honesty, my ISP hasn't been the most reliable. This is my first time streaming so of course I'm sure I'm making a lot of noobish mistakes lol. I will for sure try the cable out when I can because I saw that as a solution in multiple forums and it makes sense that around 10/11 p.m. it wouldn't be nearly as congested.

Also koala sorry to sound so naive, but the LAN cable is what would basically make my laptop run through a wired connection right? Would that significantly help out the connection even if there are other devices connected to it wirelessly and what Cat would you recommend for streaming?

I'm sorry, but I'm unable to answer the questions for various reasons. Just connect your machine to your router with a lan cable (yes, that's wired and replaces your wi-fi) and see if your bandwidth problems go away.

Oh np, I was half-awake when I typed this and now I have a lan cable so I'll test it out. Thank you for the help!
