Question / Help Streaming with low CPU-power

Hello!

I want to stream my iPhone (QuickTime, Window Capure) to twitch with my Late 2009 Macbook with a Core2Duo CPU.
Yes, its very slow but I want to test it.

OBS options:
Resolution:768x480
FPS: 25
Encoder: x264 & ultrafast

My upload is around 9000kbps but I set the video-bitrate to 1000.
Is the CPU less stressed if I set it to under 1000?

Are there any others ways to relieve the CPU & GPU?

The lower you put the bitrate, the more stressed the CPU will be, because it has to compress the source image to an even smaller size.
